The launch of Wheatley Homes Glasgow will result in hundreds of additional new homes and jobs and millions more invested in existing homes.

Cairn was identified as the preferred partner in 2019 following an advertised procurement exercise.

Following his retirement, Brian Frater will join the board of Eildon Housing Association. 

Susan Bell joined the association last year as Governance and Compliance Manager and has worked within the housing sector for over 20 years across all functions within a housing association. 

Work is anticipated to be complete by the end of Summer 2022 when Barrhead’s tenants will be able to move into the new homes.

The project is scheduled to complete in June 2023 with properties being allocated from the Fife Housing Register.

Open to those aged 16 and above, the Apprenticeship Foundation programme provides participants with four years of hands-on training to acquire an SCQF Level 6.

The Heritage and Place Programme is open to local authorities, national park authorities and not-for-profit organisations

Staff from Wheatley were joined by community groups, school pupils and volunteers for environmental-based activities. 

The sessions, facilitated by staff from Hillcrest Futures’ harm reduction service, were delivered at Hillcrest Maintenance’s head office in Tom Johnston Road, Dundee.
