Jim Whiston, Ayrshire Housing’s long-serving Director, is to retire in December. Jim has led the association since it was formed through a merger in 2003.
Simon Leslie, the association’s Chair, said: “Much of the credit for Ayrshire Housing’s strong reputation among our tenants and communities, as well as its standing in the wider housing movement, is down to Jim’s outstanding commitment and enthusiasm. His leadership has ensured that we are in very good shape to continue our development as an independent organisation despite all of today’s challenges”.
The association has engaged EVH to manage the recruitment process.
