Ore Valley Housing Association’s Big Summer Sit Doon

Ore Valley hosted its ‘Big Summer Sit Doon’ event for its tenants on Wednesday 24 August at Auchterderran Church. The theme for the event was ‘Healthy Homes, Healthy Lives’ looking at what makes a home healthy from both the tenant and landlord’s perspective.
There was a great turnout and lots of positive and constructive conversation on topics such as repairs, mould and dampness, the cost of living crisis, renewables, mental health and physical wellbeing giving great insight into tenant expectations and what they want from their homes. The association will use this to drive future plans and activities.
The event marks the first in a number of wider engagement activities set to be undertaken by the association across the coming months.
