Scottish Futures Trust (SFT) is working with the Scottish Government to consider new funding models which could help support the roll out of the Social Housing Net Zero Standard. The capital costs of the new Standard will be significant and both RSL and Scottish Government finances are constrained. As set out in the first report by the Green Heat Finance Taskforce, if new models can be identified to support the financing of social housing retrofit this could have a major impact on the pace and scale of activity.

SFT is keen to meet with RSLs to share initial ideas on the models they are considering and to gain feedback on their suitability for the sector. If you are interested in supporting this work and would have availability for a one-to-one meeting in the coming weeks, please contact Eli Harji at eharji@sfha.co.uk by Friday 16 February.
