As part of its ICT strategy, Manor Estates Housing Association has invested in new laptops for all staff. Rather than disposing the old equipment, staff members were given the option to purchase one of the older laptops and asked to make a donation to the charity “Steps to Hope”. In total, staff raised £900 for the charity – in addition, Manor Estates gifted a further four redundant laptops and 2 surface pro’s to the charity for use.
Steps to Hope Founder & Director Richie Roncero, commented: "We are so grateful to Manor Estates for their generous donation of £900 and for the laptops. These will be great for those within our residential recovery programmes."
Claire Ironside, CEO at Manor Estates, commented: "I am delighted that we were able raise so much money for the Steps to Hope and I am sure the donation and the equipment will come in useful. Steps to Hope is an excellent charity, and we are very happy to support the work that they do."
