The Zero Emissions Social Housing Taskforce (ZEST) was convened by then Housing Minister Kevin Stewart and tasked with examining, and making recommendations on, what is required of the social housing sector to maximise its contribution to the Scottish Government’s climate change targets. On 31 August, it published its recommendations for achieving net-zero emissions in social housing.
Our virtual Energy Conference on 21 September will look at ZEST’s key recommendations and discuss the next steps with the taskforce’s co-chairs, SFHA Chief Executive Sally Thomas and Aubrey Fawcett, Inverclyde Council Chief Executive.
