Ahead of the imminent publication of the Scottish Government's Housing Investment Taskforce paper on unlocking new investment, we will be joined on 30 April at our in-person session by Kathryn Fergusson from the Scottish Government's More Homes Division to discuss what the paper might mean for SFHA members.
The paper is expected to set out recommendations on key issues including approaches to MMR, private finance, and increasing sector capacity. Discussion around the potential role of equity investment and for-profit models is also anticipated.
Kathryn will provide an overview of the report and Ministerial response, and is keen to gather feedback from SFHA members on how Scottish Government can support greater investment into the social housing sector.
