A £1 million Scottish Government fund is now open to support tenancy sustainment and homelessness prevention across Scotland.
A £1 million Scottish Government fund is now open to support tenancy sustainment and homelessness prevention across Scotland. Administered by SFHA and Homeless Network Scotland, the fund will run from June 2025 to April 2026.
Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) and third sector organisations can apply in partnership to deliver or expand community -based tenancy sustainment initiatives, to support tenants and prevent homelessness. Projects will also administer a cash-first element, offering direct payments to households to address urgent financial need.
This is a time-limited learning programme aligned with the upcoming 'Ask and Act' prevention duties in the Housing Bill. It will generate insight into the evolving role of RSLs in early intervention and collaborative prevention.
Applications close at 17:00 on 12 May 2025.
