NHS Education for Scotland has announced funding for 50 candidates to undertake a Professional Development Award in Technology Enabled Care, with applications now open.
The PDA in TEC will be delivered online via a partnership with UHI Perth College and candidates interested in enrolling as part of the 7 January 2025 cohort have until Sunday 1 December 2024 to submit their applications.
This self-directed award has been designed and developed to support Scotland’s Digital Health and Care Strategy and is ideal for frontline roles in social work, social care, health and housing organisations, including those working in care at home or care homes, across the public, private and third sector
It will equip participants with the skills to promote the use of technology across the sector, empowering them to evaluate and adopt technologies that support health and care delivery while reflecting on how these could be used to assist people to self- manage and live independently.
