Aids and adaptations budget must be protected

Following significant delays in housing associations receiving their grant letters for stage three aids and adaptations, we’re acutely aware that many members face significant cuts.  

Following the cuts, we highlighted the importance of aids and adaptations to facilitate accessible housing and promote independent living. This included coverage which was featured in The Herald and The Times newspapers, in addition to a report on the STV News at Six, which can be viewed here. 

Ahead of the Scottish budget, we believe it’s vital that government and parliament are clear on the extent of need and the impact of the cuts. As such, we’re asking members to complete a short survey on both the impact and the process itself.
