GDPR model documentation, guidance notes and FAQs (August 2021)
In 2018, SFHA and GWSF commissioned TC Young to produce guidance and model documentation to assist members in meeting the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). The guidance has been updated to reflect legislative changes since then, including Freedom of Information, Brexit and the Data Protection Act. Open all hours: a template guide to information (August 2019)
All Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) are required to produce a Guide to Information (GTI) detailing where all of the required information under the Scottish Information Commissioner’s (SIC) Model Publication Scheme. SFHA’s Open all hours publication is available to help SFHA members meet these requirements.
The guidance provides a Template Guide to Information that can be adapted by members as the basis for their own GTI. This template was developed with the support of the SIC to ensure effective compliance with the MPS - making it an effective tool to achieve and demonstrate compliance with the duty to publish in FOISA.
