FOI Helpline Service exclusive to SFHA members
A free FOI helpline, provided by TC Young solicitors, is available exclusively to SFHA members.
The helpline is intended to provide quick answers to one-off, straightforward queries in respect of compliance with the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOI) or the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR). Through the helpline, TC Young will provide up to 20 minutes of free legal advice via telephone on any one FOI/EIR matter.
This service is in addition to a suite of comprehensive guidance, developed by TC Young on behalf of SFHA, that provides template FOI documentation to SFHA members. The helpline has been available to SFHA members since FOI was extended to RSLs in November 2019.
