SFHA members will be taking part in a workshop on 20 March to bring together representatives from the energy industry and those working to support social housing tenants in Scotland.
In the context of a housing emergency and the ongoing cost of living crisis, social landlords are working hard to ensuring vacant homes are brought back into use as quickly as possible and that tenants can access affordable energy which meets their needs. The interaction between housing providers and energy suppliers is critical to this, with both sectors seeking efficient and effective processes around energy account management.
This workshop will encourage knowledge exchange and practice sharing between the two sectors and help to identify examples of good practice, potential process improvements and further opportunities for collaboration.
The event will be hosted by Wheatley Homes Glasgow and supported by the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations and Energy UK.
There are still places available for SFHA members who would like to attend. Please contact Cassandra Dove (cdove@sfha.co.uk) for further details.
