Kirsty Wells, Director of Consultancy and Partnerships at Housemark, has been appointed as the inaugural Chair of the WISH Scotland regional board.

Wish said that Ms Wells "brings her wealth of networking experience and a passion to drive the gender equality agenda throughout Scotland" to the new role.

Lucy Malarkey, Managing Director of WISH, said: “We are thrilled that Kirsty will be taking on the role as Chair for WISH Scotland; this is a really exciting time, and, with Kirsty as Chair, I have every confidence that WISH Scotland will thrive.”

WISH is the membership-based network for women working across every discipline in the housing sector. Already established in nine other regions, WISH Scotland is the latest addition to the network. The regional board is made up of volunteers, like Ms Wells, who work together to arrange inspiration and knowledge-sharing networking events, both online and in person, for its members.

Ms Wells' first role is to bring together the Scotland regional board, and she is looking for women who would be interested in joining.

Kirsty Wells said: “I am delighted to accept the role of inaugural Chair of WISH Scotland and am actively on the search for a range of board members, who are passionate female housing professionals that want to support WISH Scotland to provide an amazing experience for our members.”
