Welfare rights service sees benefits returned to Molendinar Park tenants
Over a quarter of a million pounds in benefits returned to residents of the housing association.
Molendinar Park Housing Association has reported that, since introducing a welfare rights service, provided by Govan Money Matters, the financial gain for the association's tenants, from 1 April 2020 to 31 December 2021, was £254448.25, with the service being used by 252 tenants.
The housing association facilitates the service once a week, and residents can get advice on a range on money matters. Appointments can be made by calling 0141 564 5256 and speaking to its Housing Management Team.
