Mobile Client Devices (SP-19-020)
The new Mobile Client Devices Framework went live on Monday 16 August 2021 with HP UK Inc. and is open to all Scottish public sector organisations including the third sector. The framework will provide public sector bodies with access to best-in-class laptops and mobile workstation technology which all meet or exceed the latest energy management and environmental standards at significant savings compared to market prices. The framework will run for an initial two-year period to 15 August 2023 with an option of two x 12-month extension.
HP Inc UK Ltd has updated its eCommerce system to reflect the new offering and all framework documents are now available via the Scottish Procurement Information Network in Knowledge Hub.
IT Peripherals updated catalogue (SP-17-021)
An updated Computacenter catalogue has been uploaded into Pecos and is now available. Computacenter recently updated its IT Peripherals framework (SP-17-021) buyers' guide to include an updated organisation chart. IT Peripherals (SP-17-021) – Computacenter introduces a new web portal
Computacenter are rolling out its new web portal, TechSource, to Scottish customers. TechSource is a new and improved purchasing experience which will replace the existing Connect web shop to provide a more up-to-date buying experience and all customer and order history data will be migrated onto the new platform.
Who does it impact?
For people who currently use the Computacenter Connect web portal, the user interface is changing which will require new URL and login details.
When is it happening?
Computacenter has started to contact customers directly and will continue during September 2021.

Computacenter are running a series of Webinars to provide additional information. The dates for these webinars will be Wednesday 8 September 2021 at 14:00 abd Wednesday 15 September 2021 at 14:00.
