Social Housing Net Zero Fund: Update on Checkpoints
This work remains ongoing, however to ensure there is no further delay for potential projects, there will be an interim checkpoint for applications to be submitted by 31 May 2023.
As you may be aware, Scottish Government have been working on refreshing the Social Housing Net Zero Heat Fund application process to ensure it is offering the best support to the Social Housing Sector in their efforts to decarbonise their housing stock. This work remains ongoing, however to ensure there is no further delay for potential projects, there will be an interim checkpoint for applications to be submitted by 31 May 2023.
This 31 May checkpoint will be open to applications using the existing application form and guidance documents currently available at this link. Social Housing Net Zero Heat Fund - call for funding applications - 2022 - gov.scot (www.gov.scot). Applications should be submitted in the usual way to netzerosocialhousing@gov.scot
There will be further checkpoints throughout the year which will be open to applications using the refreshed application form and guidance. These dates will be:
- 30 June 2023 – please note this will be the first checkpoint using the refreshed guidance and application form
- 30 September 2023
- 31 December 2023
