Social Care Bootcamp for entrepreneurship and innovation

Funded places available for businesses in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde region.

The College Local Innovation Centres (CLIC) has announced funded places for businesses in Glasgow to access support in embedding digital technologies throughout their organisations.

As part of a 12-month pilot project  funded by the Innovate UK Further Education Innovation Fund, businesses across the Glasgow City region will gain access to comprehensive support and guidance on embedding and embracing innovation and digital technologies within their business. 

The Centre for Innovation Leadership, hosted by City of Glasgow College, will work in partnership with the Digital Health Care Innovation Centre (DHI) to help develop entrepreneurial and innovation competencies amongst social care workers through a bespoke and targeted bootcamp to accelerate the implementation of innovations. 

It has devised a bootcamp which will span three days over three weeks (Wed 19 Feb, Wed 26 Feb, and Wed 6 March), covering the key tools and techniquies to: 

  1. Define a problem
  2. Ideate a solution
  3. Build a business case for implementation
