The most recent report from SFHA’s ongoing Universal Credit survey has now been published, providing an update on the effects of Universal Credit and the pandemic on SFHA members and their tenants.
These latest results, which are based on data gathered between January and March 2021, continue to demonstrate ongoing challenges, including increased demand for welfare advice and support alongside limitations in how this support can be delivered. Some of the recent changes to the Landlord Portal have been viewed positively, however, survey respondents continue to highlight frustrations with the system and the need for improved efficiencies, including the development of a bulk upload facility for rent changes. Further details can be found in the full report which can be accessed here.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the survey to date. If you have any questions or comments on the survey, please contact me by emailing cdove@sfha.co.uk
