Further webinar sessions may be scheduled, depending on demand. If you would like to join the IT Peripherals webinar, please contact the ICT Products team.
IT Peripherals customer survey
The ICT Products team recently produced a customer survey in preparation for the IT Peripherals framework re-let strategy. This survey has been extended to give customers more of an opportunity to provide feedback. The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete.
It would be appreciated if you could complete the survey by 17:00 on Friday 11 June.
If you have any queries, please email the ICT Products team.
Supply Chain update
The ICT Products team continues to work closely with framework customers and suppliers to share critical details about the global supply situation and the mitigating actions that are being implemented to support Scottish customers. As you will be aware, there continues to be global supply chain constraints and logistical challenges across most frameworks, as suppliers compete with other industry sectors for the same components and manufacturing capacity.
More specifically, after some recovery on iPad supply during the spring, Apple anticipates major constraints on iPad 8th Gen to extend throughout July, August and September. Framework public bodies are advised to ensure that any forthcoming requirements are communicated with the framework supplier (XMA) as soon as possible, so that demanding planning and prioritisation can be actioned by Apple and distribution partners.
Please continue to speak to your account managers for product and delivery updates across all frameworks.
Updated buyers’ guides:
XMA has produced a revised supplier catalogue to reflecting the changes in Apple products within the Web Based and Proprietary Devices framework (SP-19-013) and the Pecos Catalogue has also been updated.
Computacenter have updated its IT Peripherals framework (SP-17-021) buyers’ guide to include an updated organisation chart. If you have any queries regarding quotes, orders or escalations, please refer to the contact details within the guide.
Both XMA and Computacenter buyers’ guide have been uploaded to the Knowledge Hub Procurement Information Network group.
