SFHA and Wheatley Group would like to invite you to complete a survey to understand the impact on staff of managing demand for social housing in Scotland.
Do you work on housing lists or housing allocations for local authorities or housing associations?
If the answer is yes, the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) and Wheatley Group would like to invite you to complete a survey to understand the impact on staff of managing demand for social housing in Scotland.
There is very little published research on the experiences of staff. While housing providers may undertake staff surveys, little information is collated or published. We are really keen to understand more about how any wait for social housing affects you in your job.
The survey is mostly tick box, so should take around 10 minutes to complete. The questions cover your role, demand for housing, working with applicants, support and any personal impact. There’s also the option to provide more information on your responses and experiences, if you wish.
We would be very grateful to staff within our member organisations if they could complete this survey and help us to better understand the impact that demand for housing has on those working in this area. This survey sits alongside wider research that has included interviews with households waiting for social housing and staff managing housing lists.
The deadline for completing the survey is 9am on Wednesday, 23 October.
