Regional Networks & TPAS Scotland Affordability survey
The research is in the form of two surveys, one for tenants and one for landlords.
The research is in the form of two surveys, one for tenants and one for landlords.
Housing associations and co-operatives exist to provide good quality, affordable homes – that’s why rent levels in the social sector are typically half the level charged in the private sector. We, and our members will always work hard to keep rents as low as possible. With that in mind, you may want to take part in TPAS Scotland’s survey, which is supported by Scottish Government and seeks to understand how rents are set, what affordability tools are used and how landlords throughout Scotland consult on rent increases.
There are two surveys: one for social rented landlords and one for tenants, and they will run until 28 September 2022
The survey can be accessed via the links below
A paper version of the survey can be downloaded here.
Following on from this research, tenants and landlords will be invited to take part in focus groups to further discuss the outcome of the surveys. If you would like to take part in the focus group discussions, please contact leza.lafferty@tpasscotland.org.uk.
