Rural Stirling Housing Association has made a key senior appointment to its team. Craig Wood has been appointed as the association’s Director of Housing and Property Services and will take up his post on 24 May.
Mr Wood joins RSHA from Trust Housing Association in Edinburgh where he has been Development Manager for just over three years. Prior to that, he spent ten years working in housing for Edinburgh City Council.
He has had wide experience of the functions of local government and hopes this knowledge will be of benefit to tenants. Craig also has qualifications to degree level in town planning and urban design.
Welcoming Mr Wood to RSHA, Chief Executive Donna Birrell said: “Craig brings huge experience of the planning and delivery of new build housing and investment projects to his new role. Meeting the high expectations of our tenants in delivering quality housing is a vital part of our work. I am sure Craig will make a great contribution to our team.”
Mr Wood said: “I am very much looking forward to joining Rural Stirling Housing Association. I know very well the good work it does serving many communities over a wide geographical area. I’m delighted to be joining a team of housing professionals which always put tenants first.”
