John Swinney has been sworn in as Scotland's next First Minister and has announced his Cabinet.

Following the resignation of Humza Yousaf MSP, the SNP began a contest to select their next leader and Scotland's First Minister which John Swinney won unopposed.

The new First Minister yesterday announced his Cabinet and confirmed that Paul McLennan MSP will continue in his role as Minister for Housing.

SFHA will continue to work constructively with the Scottish Government on key policy areas such as delivering affordable rented housing and ensuring Scotland's transition to net-zero remains affordable for housing associations, co-operatives and tenants.
