SFHA has come together with organisations from across the housing and homelessness sectors in a response to the Scottish Government's consultation on a Human Rights Bill. Whilst RSLs already make a significant contribution to the concept of adequate housing and support for people to realise that right, the number of households in temporary accommodation has increased significantly. As part of the response, we welcome the focus on human rights and set out our hopes that the Bill will provide an opportunity to improve the ‘right to adequate housing’, with the resources needed to achieve this.
