What’s in this issue?

  • Cost of living crisis: On pages 6–17, there is a special focus on the cost of living crisis, looking at how SFHA members are helping tenants though this challenging period.
  • Tackling climate change: West of Scotland Housing Association recently welcomed Minister for Zero Carbon, Active Travel and Tenants’ Rights Patrick Harvie MSP to its Passivhaus development in Glasgow’s East End. You can read about the visit on pages 22 and 23.
  • Encouraging more young people to work in social housing: Three housing association staff members, who are all under 30-years-old, explain what attracted them to the sector, and how we can encourage more young people to consider working for a social landlord. Read more on pages 24 and 25.
