You’re invited to join us at SFHA’s Housing Management Conference at The Studio, Glasgow on Thursday, February 22nd.
Attendees and presenters will come together to discuss the different pressures facing Housing Teams and colleagues, and what options are available to help manage them. The conference will feature ways in which housing associations and co-operatives work with tenants, partners, and each other to respond to the changing needs and diversity of people in social homes and on waitlists.
Plenaries will cover ideas to collectively alleviating homelessness in the context of increased use of temporary accommodation and the introduction of ‘Ask and Act’ duties. We will discuss responsibilities and opportunities for effectively identifying, preventing, and supporting survivors of abuse ahead of incoming requirements for RSLs to tackle abuse in the Housing Bill.
Other sessions include fresh approaches to antisocial behaviour, bespoke mental health support programmes, and introducing new technology to help staff and tenants engage well and maximise people resource. These workshops feature creative solutions and innovation from across the sector to keep people healthy and safe, so they can enjoy their homes and connect positively with the wider community.
