Housing Bill and Housing to 2040 consultations live
SFHA will be responding to consultations on major housing issues.
The Scottish Parliament’s Local Government, Housing and Planning Committee and Social Justice and Social Security Committee are seeking views on the Housing (Scotland) Bill.
As part of stage one considerations the Committees will then take in-person evidence from some stakeholders, government officials and relevant Ministers. Following this they will produce a report with recommendations which the Scottish Government must consider and respond to. SFHA will be responding, however if members also wish to respond the survey can be found here.
Alongside this, Scottish Government have also launched a survey on Housing to 2040 and the ‘deliverability’ of target to deliver 110,000 affordable homes by 2032. Again, SFHA will be providing a full response – the survey can be found here.
