As part of the recently announced plan of action on cladding remediation, social landlords can now submit Expressions of Interest for funding through the Scottish Government’s ‘Single Open Call’.
An initial £10m has been made available to fund Single Building Assessments (SBAs). In the first instance, this offer will be available until 30 September 2025, or until funding is fully committed. The number of applications will be kept under review and the Scottish Government may run further rounds of the open call process.
Subject only to some restrictions on the height and age of the property, this offer is open to owners of all residential properties in Scotland, regardless of tenure-type.
You can check if you're eligible to make an Expression of Interest by answering a few questions about:
- the building's location
- the building's height
- the building's history
- if you represent a group of owners of the building (this includes RSLs and factors)
