We are using a short survey to collect information on members’ allocations to homeless households. Your input will inform our discussions with Scottish Government around temporary accommodation reduction action plans.

Recent Scottish Government plans to reduce the number of households living in temporary accommodation focusses on a national acquisitions plan to support councils and registered social landlords to purchase properties including empty homes and private sector homes. Measures will include working with social landlords to increase allocations to homeless households, which SFHA remains in active discussion with Scottish Government on and has created a member working group on this issue.

Your responses to this survey will help us accurately understand our members’ significant contributions to reducing homelessness and collect your views about additional potential. We will use this information to help inform our participation to the Scottish Government working group and proposals.

We are asking members to please complete the questionnaire at your soonest opportunity and by close of day Friday, August 11.

The survey consists of 8 questions and should take only 5-10 minutes to complete. All responses will be confidential to SFHA and shared anonymously. If you have questions about the survey or how it will be used, please contact emcmullan@sfha.co.uk.

Thank you for your participation!
