Community Networking Breakfasts continue to offer cost-of-living support

The popular 'Breakfasts' not only foster a sense of community but also serve as a valuable resource for those seeking guidance and support, particularly at this time when many are still coping with the cost-of-living crisis.

Monthly Community Networking Breakfasts, hosted by ng homes, are bringing together a diverse range of people and organisations from North Glasgow and beyond to find out more about what they do and to share resources and experiences.

The popular 'Breakfasts' not only foster a sense of community but also serve as a valuable resource for those seeking guidance and support, particularly at this time when many are still coping with the cost-of-living crisis.

Paula Mailey, Community Development Team Leader said: "We understand the importance of community support, especially during challenging times. Our Community Networking Breakfasts are designed to provide a platform for organisations to share their resources and for community members to gain access to the help they need. We believe that together, we can navigate through this crisis."

In addition to the 'Speakers' Corner', the event will also feature a 'Marketplace'. This segment allows organisations to leave community information, providing attendees with an additional resource to help them navigate through the current challenges. This is followed by a sharing of information from participants on events, activity programmes and requests for support.

After the information session people mingle and this is where the real connections are made and the feedback shows examples of partnership working – and of course there is breakfast too.

If you are working or volunteering and want to come along to the Community Networking Breakfasts then you are welcome to attend. Dates of the next Community Networking Breakfasts are:

Friday 22 March – Saracen House, Possilpark, 10:00 – 12:00

Friday 26 April - Saracen House, Possilpark, 10:00 – 12:00

Friday 31 May - Saracen House, Possilpark, 10:00 – 12:00
