A multi-million-pound window and door replacement programme in the southside of Glasgow is now underway on behalf of Linthouse Housing Association.

The CCG Group will install 1,800 windows and 692 flat entrance door sets for residences across the Linthouse area.

The two-lot contract is seen as a significant step forward to future-proofing the association’s tenemental housing stock and was green-lit thanks to £3.7m grant funding support from the Scottish Government.

The new, energy-efficient windows and fire-rated doors have been specified to improve energy performance as well as tenants’ security and safety.

A mix of double and triple-glazed, vertical sliding sash windows from Victorian Sliders, one of the UK’s largest sash window suppliers, have been specified for the contract.
